Ned,
What do you carry for plants for discus? I will be starting another tank for discus but first I just want plants. I will be using sand and driftwood.
Never had a planted tank. So I'm a little reluctant to do this. I know this could be allot of work. Or maybe I will go just with a bare bottom tank with driftwood. But I like the looks of a natural environment for fish....

Thanks,
Marc

I would avoid cool water plants
such as Cabomba and Anacharis and Hornwort

none of the 3 above like the 85 degrees that the discus should be kept at

swordplants echinodorous would be fine
Anubias
Crypts
java fern
Java moss
crinum Onion
many others...
