What would be recommended for lowering a ph? I have a new 60 gal for Ciclids but they are currently in a lower ph tank!

well
if you needed to lower the pH
... and very seldom is it necesary ...
you can use any of the aquarium acids that we sell ...
pH Down, acid buffer, probably others

we also have similar products to raise pH ...
if you use buffering gravels
such as dolomite or aragonite at about 1 pound per gallon
the pH in a tank will usually go to 8.0

these products are sometimes very strong
and should not be added carelessly

before you do anything
> find out what your pH is, in both the tap water and the tank
and
> find out exactly what fish species you have

typically
for aquarium purposes

we need Malawi, Tanganyikan, and Victorian cichlids
and true brackish water fish like Archerfish
to be in a pH above 7.4

many of the rest of the cichlids
and the rest of the fish
the exact pH is less important
but
the safe range is about 6.5 - 8.5

it is more important to know what your pH is
than to have the pH be at any particular exact number

usually we try to use the tap water you have
with just regular dechlorinator
(unless it is super low, or super high, or otherwise bad)
