Ned, since Ive been back from my month in NJ I noticed that my Umbee has holes that the skin has white.
Water didnt get changed till I got back, feeding schedule was only every 4 days. the water parameters are good
Do you think this is HITH or something else? Treatment?

Ned, since Ive been back from my month in NJ I noticed that my Umbee has holes on its head & the skin has turned white around them.
The holes go around the eye, down the gill & across the lower jaw

yes
that's it
hole in the head
also called lateral line erosion

If you are using carbon
discontinue carbon in the filter ENTIRELY

just use foam or ceramic or other filter media

increase water changes to at least 50%
at least twice a week
for a while at least

try adding liquid vitamins to the food
and/or the water
make sure the vitamins are fresh
(should smell delicious !)

dick boyd's vita chem is a good product

vary the diet
make sure the foods are fresh
(should smell delicious !)

shrimp, krill, earthworms, assorted flakes and pellets
... live fish only if you are sure the fish are very healthy

increase heat
84 degrees F. maximum

increase the aeration
and / or water movement

I don't think medicine will help
but if you want to try a dose of clout or general cure for 6 days maximum
or
metronidazole for 10 days maximum you could

metronidazole :
I happen to be out of stock, will have some in a week

it works on early cases of bloat
I do not think it help hole in the head
but
it won't due any harm

clout will do long term harm
if not flushed in say 5 to 8 days
