I'm just wondering If I can keep any wild bettas. either Unimaculata or Albimarginata or some other interesting species in My 29 gallon angelfish tank. the tank is at 82-83 degrees and has a pH from like 6.5-6.8 and the is probably pretty soft. It is planted although not heavily yet... Are my angels going to slaughter them or will they leave them alone?? I have a breeding pair of angels will they slaughter the bettas when breeding? I have had mixed success with Betta Splendans is there any species you do suggest trying in there

any species of betta is easy to move to a fish bowl
if needed
(they breathe air, so they don't necesarily need a filter)

So besides when breeding will the water parameters be ok?
