i was wondering was some normal water parameters are in nitrates and nitrites thanks

in a well established aquarium
(either salt or fresh)
one would hope to see:
zero nitrite
20 - 40 parts per million nitrate

the safe range is quite a lot higher than that
the survivable range is very much higher than that
