I know it sounds silly but how do you clean a tank that has sand instead of rocks?

We want to do a tank with sand but it seems it would get _ up everytime and dumped into the bucket..

thanks

You use a gravel vac but you have to hover it an inch or so to keep from _ up the sand. Also you want to rake the sand before vacuuming especially under any structure to prevent pockets of ammonia & waste.

affirmative

also
with super fine sand...
be careful that a
hang on back power filter
does not suction up the sand
and grind the impellar

sand usually used with air driven internal filter
or power internal filter
or canister filter
