Hi. I have a 45 gal planted with 1.75 wpg. Everythig was and is perfectly normal... aside from the fact that i made a DIY co2 reactor for my tank and 6hr later my water got a cloudy white hue to it. I know my tank is not cycling its been running for 2 years. I also know that i did not get ANY of the mixture (which is also cloudy) in my tank. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this happening before? If so does this happen with the expensive set up's (ie. tank, pressure valves, and what not)? Is there a cheaper way to go about the high tech?

Im going to do a big water change to get the mess out. Is there anything else i should be worried about?

Thanks, Justin

IT's FROM THE SUGAR OR THE YEAST

If so does this happen with the expensive set up's (ie. tank, pressure valves, and what not)? NO

We sell the Milwaukee regulator set up thet we use in the store for only $155, works great for us. Then you just need a CO2 bottle from a welding supply shop, less than $60 I think. Oh, and a hagen mini Elite filter is about $15. That's it.

Im going to do a big water change to get the mess out. Is there anything else i should be worried about? NO
