Hi Everyone,
Killi convention
Registration for the 2013 AKA Convention in Portland, Oregon is now
open!
May 24 2013
You can get all the details on the AKA website at
http://www.aka.org/convention/2013/2013.9.html

Early registration gets you a lower number for the fish sale room on
Saturday morning and a chance to earn a highly coveted place as a G1!
Many will try, but few will achieve!

Registration is also open for the Northeast Council of Aquarium
Societies Convention April 5th to 7th in Cromwell, CT. Go to
http://convention.northeastcouncil.org/

One of the speakers this year is Andre Carletto, who will speak on South
American Annuals. If you have any interest in these fish you NEED to
see Andre's talk. There are also some other fantastic speakers as well.

There is also a 7 class fish show at the convention this year with cash
prizes and one of the classes is Killifish. I expect SNEKA members to
be well-represented in the Killifish Class!

Our next SNEKA meeting will also be at the convention. Traditionally
SNEKA hijacks the hospitality room for a raucous killifish auction and
shames the members of all lesser clubs!

Finally, I chair the Photography Contest and we need entries. Last
year cash prizes went unclaimed in the People Pictures Category! That
is FREE MONEY I had to return to the NEC coffers. The other classes had
room for more entries as well so check it out and enter some pics.

Best wishes,
Rich Pierce
