We have finalized all the preparations for the Northeast Weekend Killifish Convention and now have all the information you need.

Registration is $30 this year and the Awards Banquet is also $30 this year. The price is a bit higher than last year but the hotel is also a bit of an upgrade from last year as well.

The Convention rate is $80 per night plus tax.
The Hotel is holding a block of rooms for us until September 29.
After this date, rooms are subject to hotel availability.

The Northeast Weekend Killifish Convention Website has been updated. http:\\tinyurl.com\sneka

Now the auction registration form and show fish entry forms are online. The Auction Registration form is on the Registration Page. The auction is open to everyone, not just conference participants. There is no fee for bidder cards. If you are coming for the auction, you should plan to arrive at the hotel by 11 AM. We have an exciting list of fish we are expecting at the auction. Keep an eye on the Fish Available Page for Updates. This list includes fish we have been told to expect by convention attendees, as well as fish purchased by SNEKA as "New & Rare" fish just for the auction.

The show registration form is on the Killifish Show Page. Just a reminder that the show is a KEY sanctioned show for the AKA. Also, if you are a member of a club that is part of the Northeast Council of Aquarium Societies, fish entered in the NEW show are eligible for points towards Innes Award invitations as well as the Exhibitor of the Year competition. Fish entered in the auction are also eligible for NEC Breeder's Participation Award Points.

Finally, the deadline for reserving a seat at the awards banquet on Saturday night is this Friday, October 7th. Even if you do not eat at the banquet, you are welcome to attend the awards ceremony and Ariel Bornstein's talk on Collecting Killifish in Gabon.

Hi Everyone,

If you call the hotel to make a reservation you may be told that they are all booked up for Saturday night. If you want to stay at the Ramada where the convention is being held you need to make your reservation tomorrow. Instead of calling the main number you need to call Andrew Gottehrer in Sales at 518-438-8431 x 7106. He is trying to free up a couple more rooms for us.
