Hi i am a newbie here at this forum, i live in Arizona and i love fish here. I wanted to buy an aquarium big enough so i can place it in my basement. Any advise on how big i can do it at? I was told by a friend to just buy one at https://www.titanaquaticexhibits.com/ but i am not too sure, might be too pricey? Maybe making one is better? Any guides on making a tank?

basically, you need to figure out 3 things

> type of aquatic animals (and/or plants) you want to keep
> the space you have available
> the budget

most beginners spend about $100 - $200 for a 2.5 - 10 gallon aquarium (complete)
... and the sky is the limit

hopefully
there is an independant aquarium store in your area...
you should go there and see what they use, and what they sell for systems
