Looking for some advice. I have (not setup yet) a 55 gallon AGA,stand and canopy. I would like to setup in the den. I have plenty of room straight down (about 10 feet) in the basment and would like to know if its advisable to somehow have filter, heat, and skim in a 40 gallon tank and have it pump back up. My 55 is not drilled. I have a 36 setup and hope on the 55 to get rid of all the "filter & stuff" and have it in the basment. If i ever came home to 55 gallons of water on the floor i would be outside tied to the tree while the dog was inside on my lazy boy with the clicker.

you need either a custom drilled tank
or a tank with a built in over flow
...you could use a skimmer box on the one you have but they are always a disaster waiting to happen
...give me a call
we can order for you and give you a good deal...
if you want some one to install it for you we can arrange it,
Josh is the best
