8:30 or 9 am

was asleep at home

Ray called me
(great guy , used to work here)
said
a plane just hit World Trade Center tower

no emotion in his message
just matter of fact

watched the news for 2 hours

drove to work

electronic sign over 24 north said
" God bless America "

I started to cry

I was angry for the next 12 months

bothers me to this day
