I just wanted to check one other set up. Can you get a 30 or so gallon cube-shaped tank, cab. stand, glass top and light? I think I saw an Oceanic Contrast collection 30 gallon cube, but I am not sure if it is glass or acrylic. I couldn't find anything on the All-Glass site and the Perfecto site is ...

I have a 54 gallon corner tank that has some direct light exposure. Despite frequent cleaning with a scrubbing pad, the algae has become embedded in the glass and won't scrub off. I an okay with breaking down the tank to clean it as I am probably going to change it over soon. I just want to clean it...

Sorry if this is a redo. I have very hard water and the filter bags I use in my Whisper 3's and Tetra Tec are eaten to pieces in a very short time resulting in loose carbon everywhere. Does anyone know of a super tough filter bag that is meant to withstand hard water?
Thx,
Don

I was there Friday. The show P. phenochilus there are worth the trip just to see them. The shipping costs would still be worth it if you couldn't make it down there. He usually has a great selection of mbuna. If you ever make it to CT, I'd be willing to host a tour of my fishroom also. Good luck and...

I have a 90 gallon freshwater tank that is lightly stocked. Among the various filtration I am using is 2 Whisper 3 power filters. I have been having trouble maintaining filter bags in them using the Whisper brand as they have been disintegrating within 4-6 weeks. The only water issues I have is a sl...

I have a friend whose cousin is a lawyer and he got him out of a speeding ticket once. That's about it.

Are the HK plecos and the WM plecos as effective in cleaning the glass as oto cats? I seem to have a small accumulation over time of green algae that I'd like to control.

I HAD at least 6 oto cats in my 90 gallon and 3 in my 33 long. I saw one of them in the mouth of my Geophagus Bahi reds in the 33 and he was the last one. Then I looked in the 90 (that has a Geo. jurupari, 2 TF barbs and 2 L-200's) and those were gone also! I liked the way they cleaned the glass and...

Didn't stay submerged after 2 weeks forced under water with a weight on it. Used a reclaimed slate piece 8" x 6" x 1" screwed into the base and it was just right with a little gravel on it. Looks great!

Ned - any info about the freshwater clams being sold on eBay? They look kind of cool, but are they really all right for freshwater tanks?
Thx
