Small, colorful, North American natives are highly prized in Europe in placed where they're legal to keep.

I've always wanted to keep a colorful landlocked strain of three spined sticklebacks.

All the elassoma are very interesting, along with smaller native killies, livebearers, lepomis sp., darters, etc.

I was wondering if anyone here kept 10gallon tanks with an incandescent strip and 2 long long life florescent coil bulbs. I added one to a small tank that used a small incandescent bulb and now the plants look much greener and better. If you do let me know what plants you have and what substrate you...
