I would probably just squeeze out some nice gooey filter pads into the fry tanks, there's lots of micro life in there they can hunt jave moss or other plants also have lots of micro life in them green water in a good possibility also I also have live daphnia if you want that will swim around your ta...

the discolored goldfish doesn't seem to be diseased from the photograph. Especially if the discolored area is not raised above the normal skin. Gold fish often change color with age. I'm 99 % positive the midas cichlds stole the eggs
or freaked out the coryphen. chocolates so that they ate thir own....
when your breeding substrate spawning cichlids you really need to get everybody except the pair out of the tank
