Bristleworms aren't harmful to your tank, they tend to scavenge and eat stuff off the floor at night. They're usually nocturnal. DO NOT touch them, the bristles that give them their name are poisonous and from what I heard, they hurt like hell. I personally do not like them (they give me the creeps ...

i dont think either shark would be ok in that tank. the biggest reason though, isnt the tankmates, its the size. I have heard they need at least a 40 gallon tank to swim around in.

i would recommend against it. with your kH level it isnt stable enough and a crash in pH could happen. maybe get some peat moss to lower it naturally.

i believe amano shrimp eat BBA, but also rosy barbs have been known to eat BBA, and i believe black mollies eat it occasionally as well.

i dont know, but i just wanted to ask something. is play sand ok in tropical tanks? i dont want to spend about $50 on silica sand specially made for tropical tanks, when you can buy the same amount of playsand for about $5. does it affect pH, gH, or kH?

would a betta and guppies be compatible? i hope they are because i just found a 10 gallon (holds 20 inches of fish because of surface area), and wanted to put my male betta in it, along with some tetras, cories, and some guppies.
