I have .25 ammonia in my tank. NOT FATAL...BUT OF CONCERN IF YOU'RE TANK HAS BEEN RUNNING FOR MORE THAN 7 WEEKS...ARE YOU OVERFEEDING?>>YOU'RE FISH SHOULD FINISH THEIR FOOD IN 60 SECONDS. I have a 90 gallon tank with a large eheim cannister as well as a wet dry. AMMONIA SHOULD BE ZERO WITH ALL THAT....

You can turn the UV sterilizer on at anytime, just watch your tank temperature to make sure you stay in the safe range.

You're doing something wrong, but I don't know what... lights have 4 instructions... 1) put light on top of tank ...1a) plug into electric outlet 2) turn switch on 3) watch fish swim 4) turn off light we also sell timers...if you set up a timer you can skip steps 2 and 4 Corallife also make legs if ...

those fish look pretty big I would put 1 or 2 in a half full 5 gallon bucket with a lid we have bag buddys at the store which add oxygen and also have a mild tranquilizing effect check the buckets about every half hour to make sure the fish aren't having trouble breathing, if their breathing is labo...

Who made your light and what color are the bulbs?
AGA ships a "Power Compact" wth 6700K bulbs which are kind of a yellowy color.
You might want to replace them 10000K/actinic.
Which is a nice mix of colors for showing off cichlids.
Bring a bulb by the store.

if they mate once they can re-fertilize themselves many times
