There are many ick cures. Whatever you do, DO IT NOW. Ick is easy to kill, but will wipe out your tank if ignored. If I were you: I would take out the live plants and leave them in another tank or just a bucket of fresh water (change water occasionally, or add an airstone.) Put in 2 tea spoons of sa...

Wild fish eat all day every day, usually very small amounts at a time... however discus are very finicky... if you give them only bloodworms for a long enough time, they can go on hunger strike 'til they get 'em again. Their 2 favorites are live black worms & frozen bloodworms... I don't feed ei...

Is there any different care for a royal or a gold nugget from your normal common plecos All plecos like to chew driftwood. So i would put a nice yucky driftwood in any Pleco tank. The oldest pleco I ever heard of was 8 years old. Royals are Panaque..they need clean water and wood & algae to eat....

why would you care
if you have to change the water once a day
or once a week?
It's obvious you are not going to do either.

do discus really require about 50% water changes PER DAY? This would be ideal, but no it's not essential...I would say 50% weekly MINIMUM.
