Hi Ned, I need to move and sadly can't take the fish I've had for quite some time with me. You've taken some of my Cory sterbai in the past. I need to get rid of a bunch of fish, including the 3 breeders C. sterbai, and 3 offspring from two clutches. 3-5 (too dense a tank) Panaque maccus. Pearl gour...

cool, will be monday, credit not needed, but appreciated

will be spent then! I decided with the living room tank to have smaller, more peaceful colorful fish (danios, small tetras) and my beloved breeding sterbai and to skip the cichlids all together...

Hi, I have a leopoldi wild caught angel I got from you months ago. It turns out to be a bit to aggressive for my smaller community fish tank. I'd like to give him to you (free, of course) to rehome to a more appropriate setting. Beautiful fish, but I think if I try angels again it's going to be a sp...

That's it, thanks. I've only seen two young. It's a community tank, with some Angels, so the chances of them making it is slim, but I'll let you know if I pan out with a few. I'm stoked.

Hi Ned, Probably the wrong forum, but I'm trying to find out the name of a tetra I bought at your store. It's black, with a gold line across the dorsal edge. The male when it got bigger had a "third" tail, a sword extension between the caudal fin from the center. They were about $16. I tho...

Not sure if this is the right forum, but a red tailed loach I got from you several months back just isn't working out in any of my tanks. It's just too aggressive and quick. Will you accept it back? I don't want any money or anything, just want a good home for him and maybe you can make a couple of ...

I'd like to, they're awesome looking, but will require a substrate change.

What species are they? I love them, need to do a bit of research before I can commit (hopefully).

I haven't checked the Ph w/ the lights out. I always thought the abundant plants moderated the Ph a bit (soaking up the CO2), so I haven't given much thought to it being 7.0. It is definitely not an acidic tank.

I'll start adding some tap water, after aging it.

Yeah, i'm stumped. I use RO water, no tap water. 78 degrees. 6.8-7.0 Ph. I have 2 that are fine, every time I had another 1-2, those ones die within a week. They get food, use shrimp pellets and/or freeze dried tablets. Frozen brine once a week (one cube/tank). 1" at top for air. Dang. I might ...

I dunno what I'm doing wrong, but the 2 Cory sterbai I bought this weekend both passed away last night. I don't want to give up on this species (I have 2 and love them) but that is a total of 4 that I've gotten from you that have died a day after looking fine and healthy. I don't get it and I'm frut...

I'm thinking food may be an issue. Mainly because a few of the livebearers are Goldbreasted splitfins (Ilyodon furcidens) and they, at times, seem forceful in scouring the bottom for food once I drop shrimp pellets, etc in.

May need to transfer them.
