A MH light from Omega Sea would probably fit well on a 35 hex.........

There is also a Rainforrest cafe in the Burlington mall. The gas exchange is not really an issue if you have proper filtration and flow. The only time I have seen an issue is when using a canister filter with no other water movement and a tight sealed top with corals in the tank.

The good thing about going yourself is that you will see other things that may tickle your fancy. 1.5 hr ride isn't that bad. Better than having to wait around for UPS to get there with your delivery anyways.

I second Ned's opinion on acrylic. Stay away from it. They are available for cheap prices for a reason. They are fine for freshwater, but for saltwater they are a nightmare. Being as careful as you can, the acrylic over time will still start to look foggy.

Invest in more critters to help maintain the tank , then add more fish. You can never have enough critters.
Urchins, shrimp, crabs, snails, sea cucumbers, starfish. algae Blenny
All of the above have their own job to fullfill in your tank. You won't be disappointed.

The grease you looked up is fine. The link for the ballasts do not have any ballasts that will work with PC lighting. The only ballasts the electrical supply houses I checked with were able to get were Current brand. i can't imagine that no one else makes them, but your options are limited. If Curre...

I have done a lot of looking for other brand ballast to replacxe the Current brand ones. I only found other brand of ballast I have never heard of that cost a LOT more than Current's.

Just thought I would share my findings to save others time from hunting around.

Why is it that only on Thanksgiving are the roads a parking lot? I would think even Christmas would be worse traffic, but that's not the case. 1.5 hours to get from Braintree to Wellesley, there's just something really wrong with that. makes you want to just stay home and eat fish..........

You will also probably go through a green algae phase. Not to worry, also normal. Means your tank is cycling.

The Angel formula is held together with geletan. I would defrost it a bit and just smoosh it in your fingers so the fish will eat the smaller pieces. As far as the green star, I would put smaller pieces or rock around it and let it attach itself to those frags naturally. ypou can then seperate it an...
