We just got in 2 cases of BioClaire
which is a granule that helps retard the growth of string algae
$11 per 2 pound bag
suggested dosage: 1 pound per 400 gallon pond

which is more like for a 75 gallon reef tank

Skimmers, like, activated carbon, for a reef tank are best used only very occasionally. Certainly do NOT use either while feeding your DT's phytoplankton, the skimmer will _ it right out.
