Trying to get some Sailfin swordtails into my breeding program. Not hi-fins but real flowing sailfins. Beautiful fish...Do you have any suppliers. Males or females. I would just want to know the color variants.

smaller mbuna for sure.

Yellow labs are popular.

Pseudotropheus saulosi

Some of the species from the Cynotilapia genus are really nice.

I sell some of these types of fish on aquabid.

If you do go out and catch one for one of your tanks, you must keep it through the duration of its life.

You cannot release it into the wild if you come up with other plans for the fish tank.

I know more air is important when shipping but i wonder about the bag buddies.

I am using USPS priority mail. Should i use 1 full bag buddy or just half, along with a few inches of water? The fish being sent are only about 1 inch or so. Probably 2 in a bag.

I bought a male and 3 smaller unsexed fish. I am looking for 2 confirmed adult females. Just something for your next malawi order. No rush.

Thanks, Ben.

If you can get some pictures, someone might be able to identify them for you and from there suggest ways to properly care for them.

I saw something like this in my 55. I was able to save one fish, the other actually got its eye eaten out by another fish and was still alive. (but died shortly after) Not a fun experience. I saved the second one on a alot of salts added and melafix.

Some fry should be big enough to bring by soon. The biggest are 1/2 max right now, but there is tons of them.

The brichardi have probably paired off. They are by far the best parenting cichlids that i know of. They kill everything in order to keep the babies safe.

The bristlenose are the best algae eaters out there. Unlike your common pleco's they eat algae all of their lives, usually common plecos get tired of algae at an older age and become more carnivorous and they _ the slime coats off your fish.

I dont know about those two.
I just have 2 albino bristlenoses for my 5 tanks. When one tank has to much algae for my liking. I just toss the pleco right in (sometimes i catch them with my hands). No need to acclimate, they are very hardy.

They also stay small and eat algae all their lives.
