Hi, I am getting back into freshwater tanks after being out for a bunch of years. I am thinking of starting a small Cichlid tank and a freind of mine said to go with a canister filter rather than a top of tank like a Aquaclear or alike. He said the canister is easier to maintain and does not smell. ...
