We really like our whiptail pleco (see post on this same forum for pix link). Had same concern as you re: pleco that wouldn't outgrow a 10 gal, and am now hoping to add a 2nd when Ned gets some in. Good eater, will get algae off of plants without damaging the leaves too.

Just a thought!

Prefer the look of the Pleco - could you let me know when you get some Whiptails (or similar size) plecos in??

Hi - bought one of these lovely 'mini' plecos from you in August (variety unknown, but looks most like this: http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/profiles/604.htm ) Though we have only a 10 gal, we still have plenty of algae and would like to add another. Could be this variety, or another that stays ve...

Update: No dwarf corys when my son and I came in last month. Went home with a pair of Otocincus instead, and all are doing well!

Ok, that is what I thought - then saw the posting about the demise of the algae-eater and had second thoughts...

Any idea when you might have some dwarf/pygmy sized ones in?

Hi - Before kids had 30 and 50 gal tanks... now I have a 2 gal and don't want to expand (yet!). We had a dwarf african frog in the tank, with heater and airstone, for about 4 years. He recently 'passed on', so we took pity on the Betta in a bowl and moved him into heated quarters, where he is extrem...
