Heya Uhm...So does 'monster tank' mean a tank full of monsters or a tanks that is monster sized? Regardless... As juvies it may all work out, but then again the JDs and the oscars might tear eachother apart. As they get bigger, 90 gallons is not large enough for all 7 of those fish. I would keep ONL...

90 gals and 21 fish seems to be below the level of crowding to keep agression down. The dominant male(s) have probably set up territories and now are defending them. Also, perhaps there is some spawing going on or about to....and this always increases the tension in the tank. My advice would be to g...

I have a 30 gal West African tank...and wanted to know whether anyone could comment about how 'peaceful' the Moanda Jewels really are. The tank had a trio of Nano. parilus, a few upside down cats, and a few target/dither tetras. I want to add another species and would like for it to be the Moanda as...

Heya: I have started a meetup group for Boston area fish folks... http://aquariums.meetup.com/72/ Once we have a decent number of members, we can try to have meetings or whatever. I am trying to do something a little more social and hobbiest than the average fish club. Ex, I would like to avoid argu...

Heya Ned:

This is what it is. More people are probably gonna start asking for it because it's getting pretty popular. Only can get it at specialty shops.

Heya, I have used it a few times. Twice it worked like a charm, once not at all. The bad experience may have been a dead batch of bacteria because of mishandling somewhere along they way. I DID NOT GET ANY OF THESE (BUT ESPECIALLY NOT THE BAD ONE) from Ned. But, be careful they play legalistic word ...

I have been treating for nematodes for a while, but they keep coming back. Everyone suggests levamisole but I am not sure I can get it here in the US without a prescription. Maybe a farming supply store? I have tried all sorts of Jungle products and Piperizine...In food and in the water. Any advice?...

So, what is your take on freshwater snails? I want snails that will eat dead things and algae but not my plants. And I want to avoid parasites, toxicity, and overwhelming population growth.... To be put in a 30 gal planted, community tank with fish all under 2-2.5" I have had a few in the past....

I am assuming that this is not a good development. I have some good experience with angels, but have never had any do this. The fish lays sideways, gets caught in other fishes wakes, almost turns upside down. I assume it is an air bladder issue. I have tried peas, water changes, and make sure all th...

Strange  ...Were the shrimp very small? And are you sure those were dwarf frogs and not clawed?

I have kept two adfs with a bunch of inverts and never lost one to a frog.
