Er, I think it's clear, but just in case, I mean Siamese Algae Eaters.

What does "Non-tempered glass bottoms" mean? I mean, I understand that the bottoms aren't made of tempered glass, but what are they made of instead and why is that good?

Your advice about the canister filters seems good, but I think I'd like to try a different kind of filter just because I never have and I want to see what it's like. I'm not sure how it works, but if I understand correctly, the wet/dry filter needs holes in the tank to let the water go down to the s...

I'll be needing all the equipment, and sure, you're my first choice as long as your price is halfway reasonable. As for exactly what "all" means, that's something I'm still considering. I may consider a custom tank, but otherwise I'd need that, a stand, lighting, filtration, substrate, and...

Next month I think I'm going to be ready to set up a new tank. A large one this time, probably around 200 gallons. I'm considering what kind of stock I want to put in it, and I'm looking for suggestions. Here are the parameters I'd like to follow: 1. Freshwater 2. Planted 3. Fish should be good pare...

as far as the goldfish tank goes suggest 10-20 gallons per goldfish and a really oversized filter I'm going to convert my current 46 gallon tank to a goldfish tank and move the cichlids into something bigger. as far as the african cichlids tank goes (at least for Malawis) any 4' tank will work well...

My wife and I are going to start finishing our basement in a couple of months. She wants an exercise room and an entertainment room and I want- well, an aquarium room, of course. I currently have a 46 gallon tank with African cichlids and a 20 gallon tank with more guppies than you can shake a stick...

My female yellow lab spit out her fry about 3-4 weeks ago (yay!), but I noticed yesterday that she looks like she's holding again. I could be mistaken, but she's not eating and she's hiding in the same places and acting the same way she did the last time she was holding. How frequently should I expe...

495N to exit 19 and you're practically there. That's route 109. Follow route 109 east for a little over 5 miles. It twists and turns a little, but as long as you stay on 109 you'll drive right up to Ned's. The Yahoo Maps directions are a little more specific. 9. Take exit #19/RT-109 toward MEDWAY - ...

Maybe he's just growing up? Once my fish achieved full growth, they ate less and lost a lot of their crazy energy- much like a teenage boy who hits age 20 or so. I think the other ideas people gave are good, but maybe there's nothing wrong with your zebra at all. As for humanizing the fish, I have t...

I agree- it looks fungusy. This is a planted tank with a 6700K light. I have not introduced any local plants to the tank, nor any new fish for almost a year. I did introduce some new plants to the tank, but they were bought from a reputable local fish store. That doesn't mean this stuff didn't come ...
