Hi Uncle Ned,
I was wondering what brand of filters you find most efficient? I have a 150gallon and have 2 canister filters on there but looking to upgrade. I have a freshwater tank with mostly south americans.

I have the beard algae :( and a 150 gallon tank and it is taking over a bit. If I piece out the items with the algae I think it would take forever, do you think the shrimps would be ok in a tank with some bigger fish. They aren't too aggressive but I don't know if they will be curious. I have a redf...

I need them to eat some hair algae and I have some really big fish, so I will have to wait for something a little bigger :) Keep me posted!

Hi Uncle Ned,
I have a red tailed Prochilodus and I was feeding him zucchini (along with regular fish food). I read something about having to boil the zucchini first, some people say just cut it up... what would you recommend?

Do you carry replacement bulbs for "Coralife Freshwater Aqualights 48in"?

I think they are 65W Coralife 6,700K. It looks like 4 double bulbs.

If so how much are these and do they come if different brands? If so which is the best?

Hi Uncle Ned! I have a 150 gallon freshwater tank and running 2 canister filters on it one is an ehiem pro 2 and the other a fluval 404. The Fluval died today and I am looking to get something to replace it. I was looking at the Fluval G6. What are your thoughts on the filter and would you have any ...

Hi Ned,
How big will the SAEs be? I have a tank with some hair algea and some large fish... I don't want the SAE to get eaten :)
