So I've recently gotten into cichlids after years of hearing about them from my best friend. I have a small 30 gallon tank going with a mish mosh of very young cichlids (less than a year old). I currently have two white calvus, three blue face brichardi, one lamp. tretocephalus and two phenochilus p...

So I've recently become very interested in Tropheus, and I'm thinking about getting a tank set up to house them within about a year. I still have a lot to learn before I can do it right. So far, I've learned that I need to get them in groups (at least a dozen) and they're strict vegetarians. I need ...

Oh, and two killies both small (one from the tank with the kribs, and the other is a small misc. one)...but that's it...which is why I can't understand why I've lost both plecos.

Thanks for the info, I'll pop in Saturday to pick up another one. :P

Hi there, I seem to be having a problem keeping my plecos alive. I bought a teeny bristle nose, and he ended up dissapearing after a few days. I bought a bigger one this past Sunday, was maybe an inch and a half or so...and I found him ripped apart when I got home this afternoon. I have a handful of...

I recently bought a yo yo loach, thinking that it would help keep the snail population down by eating them...but it's completely ignoring the snails. Any idea why? I have a small tank (30 gal.) and I wanted something to get rid of the snails without chemically bombing the tank, and without the snail...

I've got a dwarf shell dweller and an Apistograma Hongsloi in the tank (both bought from your store) and lately the shell dweller has been attacking the Hongsloi. The Hongsloi isn't attacking back and is starting to look pretty beaten up. I was wondering if I can bring back the shell dweller? Maybe ...
