Thanks for that feedback. I'll knock them off my list. Is there another angel with similar striping that you'd suggest. I've never had angels before but my daughter really wants one.

Thanks!

Have you ever had Altum Angelfish? They look really nice.

I noticed you had a pleco in a tank with Melanotaenia herbertaxelrodi. Do they have deep yellow coloring? If you look at my chain you'll see I purchased one far over a year ago. It still only has faint coloring. I had asked for a male at the time to ensure the best color. If you have ones with good ...

Thanks! I'm not well versed with cichlids. Should the fish I inquired about cohabitate well :?:

I appreciate the feedback. :) My tank's PH is at 7.0. I was thinking of picking up a ram, keyhole, and a Caudopunctatus (Had purchased one from you before and did great, although they pref higher ph. Until I had an issue when away for a week this summer). I'm probably going to put another cave in an...

Hi Ned, I have a community tank with rainbows, giant danios, cardinal tetras, cherry barb, and a female krib. I was considering getting her a male to pair up. I know this will lead to mating. I have a 30G Hex with a cave and was thinking about getting another cave or a cichlid rock. I was hoping mos...

I picked up Narrowleaf Chain Sword yesterday. I put the algae discs in my tank for the BN. I've never had to put in veggies. What kind do you suggest and what's easiest/quickest way to blanch?

I haven't seen them being attacked. I have rainbows, dennison barb, Buenos aires tetra (my suspect), cherry barb, & a brushy nose pleco. None of my other plants have been touched.

:?: Do you have a suggestion for a low grass that fish tend not to eat :?: I bought some dwarf sag, but my fish ate it down to my gravel. All other plants are fine.

 Thanks for all of the valuable information as always.

I have most of the components already established. I spoke to you recently about plants. I'm weening the tank off salt and proper ph. We'll see how I do.

I had purchased a Melanotaenia herbertaxelrodi back early November and asked for a male. The fins are yellow/orange but the body still isn't showing much color. Is there a chance I got a female, or do they have the same coloring? I may just be impatient :)

Thanks for the info. I am going to ween the tank out of salt as it has had negative impact on plecos & invertebrates, plus I don't keep mollies any more. I'll do it with not replacing with water changes weekly. I'm assuming all wil never be out though. Anything to remove other than a complete wa...
