One of my 3 S. multipunctatus cats has what looks like a dime sized wound on his back, immediately after his dorsal fin. I first noticed it a couple of days ago (they spend most of their time hiding in caves they have excavated under the rockwork in the tank). I noticed it right after I had removed ...

Well, looks like I must have missed some snail eggs while setting up my new 45 gallon planted tank, as I have a population of what I think are pond snails crawling around. I've been removing them manually, but I would like some better way of control. Current (intentional) inhabitants of the tank are...

Hi Ned, The C. afra red tops you sold me last year have been reproducing, and I need to clear out my grow out tank and simultaneously stock my new planted tank. I have 7 afra I'd like to trade if possible, they are around 8 months old now. I want to get some otocinclus and some sort of tetra school....

Howdy. I've got a 55 gallon stocked with 6 Cynotilapia afra (Hai reef red top), 6 L. caerulus, and 3 Synodontis multipunctatus. The tank is heavily built up with rockwork (right up to the surface). My afras have started breeding, which I'm very happy about. But I haven't been able to catch any of th...

Sounds like a good selection of C. afras. I come buy some once the tank is done cycling (maybe Cobue, maybe Jaro, I guess I'll see what's left when I make it out there).

Thanks for the help.

Hi, I'm currently fishless cycling a used 55 gallon tank. My water is naturally hard and alkaline, the tank came with crushed coral sand, and I've decorated it with a lot of rockwork, creating many hiding places. So I'm planning to make it an African cichlid tank. My current idea is to stock with La...
